STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE: HOW TO INSTALL ROLLER BLINDS

  1. What you probably need: A cement OR power drill, a hammer, 4 x screws, 4 x wall plugs (wood or plastic), a measuring tape, carpenter’s level, a screwdriver (Flatblade OR Philips head depending on screw type).
  2. To begin, place the bracket into the chain end control.
  3. Position the blind 5 inches above the window and draw a line according to the bracket size. Repeat for the other side of the blind.
  4. Mark the spot where you will screw the bracket onto the wall.
  5. Use your power drill to drill into the wall and insert a wall plug.
  6. Place the bracket and screw onto the wall.
  7. Open the blinds holder and insert the chain winder end into the chain end bracket.
  8. Lock the bracket.
  9. Pull the blind down fully and back up fully a couple of times to ensure that the blind is running smoothly.

  1. What you probably need: A cement OR power drill, a hammer, 4 x screws, 4 x wall plugs (wood or plastic), a measuring tape, carpenter’s level, a screwdriver (Flatblade OR Philips head depending on screw type).
  2. To begin, attach the spring clips to the L-shaped brackets.
  3. Mark the point on the wall with a pencil and screw the spring clips directly onto the wall above the window frame.
  4. Position the top of the headrail against the spring clips and click into place, starting with the end part of the headrail first.
  5. Pull the blind down fully and back up fully a couple of times to ensure that the blind is running smoothly.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE: HOW TO INSTALL VENETIAN BLINDS

  1. What you probably need: A cement OR power drill, a hammer, 4 x screws, 4 x wall plugs (wood or plastic), a measuring tape, carpenter’s level, a screwdriver (Flatblade OR Philips head depending on screw type).
  2. Use a pencil or marker to mark the position of the aligned brackets according to the length of the blind.
  3. Use your power drill to screw the brackets in.
  4. Insert the headrail of the blind into the brackets.
  5. Use the hammer to tighten the bracket clip.
  6. Test the cordlock on the left by pulling on the string to roll the blinds up or down.
  7. Open or close the blinds by pulling on the right string.
